Car models that ‘won’t make it to 100K miles’

  1. Nissan Versa
  2. Mitsubishi Mirage
  3. Kia Optima
  4. Chrysler 300
  5. Maserati

In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 2.4 million times, Bev speaks directly to camera using a green screen overlay.

He begins: ‘Here are five cars that probably won’t make it to 100,000 miles without a major problem.’

Wasting little time in reeling off his list, the expert states: ‘First up, we have got the Nissan Versa.

‘When I say there will be transmission failure, it’s almost guaranteed.

‘The CBT transmission in these – they might be made of papier-mâché. It’s horrible. They make these cars cheap. Don’t buy them.’

He continued: ‘Next up, we have got the Mitsubishi Mirage – another really cheap car.

‘Very, very, very, very low initial cost but you will very, very, very quickly make up the cost when it’s in the shop 24/7.’

The third model on Bev’s hitlist was the Kia Optima. ‘Again, almost guaranteed engine failure before 100,000 miles,’ he dished.

‘The 2.4 [liter engine] that came in these – it’s honestly impressive how bad they are, and if the motor lasts 200,000 miles, good luck with the thieves.’

Bev continued ploughing through his warnings with the ‘body-style Chrysler 300.’

‘The poor man’s Rolls Royce. They forgot to mention that it will make you poor as well. These things are extremely unreliable.

‘I do not see many of them passing 100,000 miles. Maybe you get 120,000 without having major issues.’

Last but not least, the social media star said there were issues with ‘any Maserati.’

‘They all suck. Probably not getting 100,000 miles in any of them,’ he candidly concluded.

Dozens of viewers flooded to the comment section to agree with Bev’s findings and share their own experiences with the models named.
