And now it seems My Kitchen Rules star Colin Fassnidge is following in the footsteps of the famously bad tempered British chef.

Fassnidge is the new host of Channel Seven’s My Kitchen Nightmares Australia, and uses the -f-word 53 times in the first episode of the new series.

According to the Herald-Sun, the straight-talking Irish chef’s foul mouth has out done the notoriously colourful language of Ant Middleton.

The former British marine only managed 43 f-words while he was hosting the first episode of SAS: Australia.

My Kitchen Nightmares follows Fassnidge, 48, as he attempts to save failing restaurants and steer them to success.

Viewers will be spared Fassnidge’s f-bombs as Seven has reportedly bleeped them out on the soundtrack.

A large red chilli is super-imposed over Fassnidge’s mouth every time he swears.

An uncensored version will be available on 7plus after the show airs on Seven’s main channel

The news comes after early reports that fans could look forward to a less-explosive version of the franchise for the Australian series of My Kitchen Nightmares.

One moment sees him tell a cook their food is ‘s**t’.

The trailer shows that Fassnidge can be brutal in his opinions.

After witnessing some kitchen chaos, Fassnidge compares the scene to something out of BBC comedy Fawlty Towers.

Channel Seven has yet to announce an airdate for My Kitchen Nightmares Australia.
