Mum leaves hundreds baffled after asking for cleaning advice to fix her fire damaged BLOWN UP toilet – and she’s not joking

A mum-of-three has shocked hundreds on social media after sharing images of her ‘blown up’ toilet – but hasn’t explained how the incident occurred.
Sarah posted images of the aftermath to the Aussie Facebook group ‘Mums Who Clean’ seeking advice on how to clean the damaged area.
Photos show the toilet bowl has been completely blown into pieces and scattered across the floor, leaving it unusable.
The wall, toilet and floor have been blackened from the impact and it’s assumed a fire-related incident took place.

Others online seemed concerned and asked what caused the incident to occur. Unfortunately the toilet will need to be replaced and the walls will likely need to be painted
‘Soooo our house had a small incident. Any tips on to clean the soot/smoke off the walls without needing a full repaint?’ Sarah captioned the post.
‘Clearly the toilet is being replaced but trying not to have to gut the whole bathroom.’
Others online seemed concerned and asked what caused the incident to occur.
‘How does this happen? On a side note, your insurance can help organise cleaning for it,’ one person commented.
A firefighter also offered her assistance regarding the damage on the walls and said: ‘If it doesn’t just wipe off with sugar soap, which I can guarantee it won’t, you will need to repaint as the heat from the fire will have actually burnt the paint.’
Another person said: ‘Insurance should cover and there is a possibility that the whole wall should be re-gybrocked because the smell and residue are carcinogenic.’
A couple others recommended Tricleanium All Purpose Cleaner from Bunnings Warehouse.
A third said: ‘There is a special cleaner for “fire”-affected walls call a cleaning supply place. Don’t use anything on it before hand or you will not get the stain and smell out which will mean replacing gyprock as well.’
The update will likely cost hundreds of dollars to restore the toilet to a functioning condition.
