Mum-of-three who lives in a two-bedroom council house despite earning £4k a month on TikTok boasts ‘p*** off, why should I move?’

A mother-of-three who lives in a council house despite earning £4,000 a month on TikTok has boasted that she is staying in her home, saying ‘p*** off, why should I move?’

Whitney Ainscough, 30, who went viral after posting videos of grim packed lunches in her Rotherham home in South Yorkshire, is regularly criticised online for her living situation.

It comes after Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council told Mailonline the mother was ‘not in breach of their tenancy’ despite the healthy earnings from her social media accounts.

The self-proclaimed ‘bad mom’, as she goes by on TikTok, claimed she earned £15,000 in January and a further £17,000 last month all while paying just £458 to rent her two-bedroom council house on the outskirts of Rotherham.

She is also on a waiting list for a bigger four-bedroom council house because her current home is to small for her three children – aged 11, six and two – and partner Joel Christopher, 32.

However, it hasn’t always been plain sailing for the TikTok star as she explained how she ‘racked up £30,000 in debt’ to ‘make herself feel better’ after she left a relationship where she suffered domestic violence.

The 30-year-old was previously living off Universal Credit but can now afford luxury holidays and the gastric sleeve surgery she had in Egypt.

Whitney entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA), a scheme to pay off debts, to pay back what she owed. She has since paid off the IVA but says she is unable to get a mortgage because it is still on her credit rating.

Whitney told MailOnline she isn’t leaving her council house – and added she is actually on the waiting list for a five-bedroom unit – as she had some strong words for her online critics.

She said: ‘P*** off. Seriously, p*** off. I pay to live here.

‘These people who are on benefits and getting the house for free, they don’t pay to live there.

‘I pay to live here just like anybody else does but they get housing benefit and whatever else. I pay the money out of my wage.

‘Why should I just move just because I am earning a lot more money now?

‘Just because I am earning a lot of money doesn’t mean I am in breach of any contract. It doesn’t mean I have to move out of my house. I pay for my house.’

‘I am currently in a two-bedroom and there are five of us – and we are really struggling for space. I have been moved up the council list.’

Whitney claims she can’t get a mortgage despite her considerable social media earnings, which she says ‘fluctuate from month to month’.

She said: ‘Unfortunately, I can’t just go and get a mortgage. I would love to, but I can’t because I have been in financial troubles before.

‘I am in an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement). No, it’s not happening. I will get my four-bedroom house from the council.

‘So, a few years ago, I was in not a very good relationship – DV (domestic violence). And I racked up £30,000 worth of debt, not going to lie, to make myself feel better. And it did for the time being, but then I was left in financial sh*t.

‘It is all finished now and finalised, but it is on your credit history for six years which I think is unfair. Obviously, I can’t get a mortgage because nobody would touch me, and the interest rates would be absolutely ridiculous.

‘So, as it stands for now, I am going to keep on doing what I am doing.’

Since she can’t spend her money on a mortgage, the TikTok star recently bought a brand new Range Rover which features in a lot of her videos.

‘The Range Rover is mine. I have recently just purchased it. I’ve got nothing to spend my money on. Obviously, I’ve got a lot of money, but I can’t get a mortgage because of my financial situation so I thought I’d go out and buy myself a Range Rover.’

The mother-of-three, who also lives with her partner, explained how she shot to fame by posting videos of packing horrific looking packed lunches for her kids while pretending to be a ‘bad mom’.

She said: ‘I have no idea how I became so good at TikTok. It stemmed from my first viral video on TikTok and once you start getting viral videos you just start getting more popular.

‘I did start from a lot of hate and then I moved on to more positive things. So, it started from going viral making dirty pack lunches to moving on to doing bits on anything that I want now.’

On her earnings, she said: ‘It fluctuates up and down. I earned £17,000 last month and the month before that £15,000. I get paid through TikTok and Facebook and the rent for my house in £458 a month.’

Whitney added that her horrific packed lunch content and heading to weatherspoons while her children are in school videos are ‘just for TikTok and for bants. It is just content.’

And this won’t be the last we see of Whitney and her unusual humour as she explained she has ‘big things’ coming down the line.

She said: ‘There are some really big things that I will be doing this year. They are all in talks at the minute and I am going to be earning a lot of money from it as well.

‘But I can’t release what they are right now. Let’s just put it this way – it is something I have never done before and it is going to be absolutely fantastic.

A Rotherham Council spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm that a tenant would not be in breach of their tenancy should their earnings change, as long as they continued to meet the conditions of their contract.’

Whitney previously said how she plans to have a tummy tuck and a breast reduction surgery after she got a gastric sleeve in Egypt.

She also previously revealed her dismay after forking out £100 to buy her daughter the very best designer shoes for the new school term – only to be told they don’t conform to the uniform policy.

In a clip shared on TikTok, Whitney explained how she had bought the Vivienne Westwood pumps for her 11-year-old daughter who has just started in Year 7 – but has been left angry after receiving the message from the school.
