A mum has impressed foodies online with her ‘life-changing’ pasta recipe that uses just a few budget buys from Aldi.

The Australian woman, called Erin, described the dish as her ‘favourite’ meal and a ‘staple’ for her and her husband.

‘This staple dish takes less than 15 minutes to make and it’s not too heavy,’ Erin posted on Facebook.

She added: ‘It’s a little bit spicy – the chorizo and olives. Other brands of chorizo aren’t spicy so you could try those and a plain olive if you’re not a fan of chilli.’

Erin also said the entire meal can be made for under $10, and it serves four people.

To make the budget dish, Erin said you’ll need some spaghetti, Parmesan cheese, green olives, onion, chorizo, butter and garlic.

Then, there are just four steps to putting the dish together.
