A mother-of-two known for sharing home hacks with thousands online has revealed how she removes any grease lurking on her kitchen cabinets easily.
Carolina McCauley, from Perth, Western Australia, used water, vinegar, soap, essential oils and a microfibre cloth to lift the tough buildup.
She demonstrated the process in a now-viral video posted on TikTok, which has been viewed more than 22,000 times in eight hours, and claims the method is ‘foolproof’.

Carolina began by mixing one cup of water with equal parts vinegar in a glass bowl, then adds in a squirt of dish soap and a few drops of essential oil.
She then wiped down the cupboards from the top to the bottom to ensure all the grease is removed.
The soap lifts the dirt and grease while the white vinegar prevents streaking on the surfaces.
The cupboards were left looking sparkling clean and the water turned an awful murky grey.
‘My foolproof method for cleaning greasy cabinets,’ Carolina captioned the video.
The home method is also ideal for those wanting to avoid using nasty chemicals inside the house.
