Murderer Sean Price threatens to kill prison guards

A man sentenced to 38 years without parole for the horrific 2015 murder of a schoolgirl has been causing havoc behind bars.

Sean Price stabbed Masa Vukotic 49 times in a Melbourne park in a brutal random attack, and has now threatened the lives of prison guards.

His behaviour has prompted a call from prison authorities for a glass barrier to be erected during the murderer’s next court appearance to protect the public gallery.

On top of the death threats levelled against guards, the violent prisoner has vandalised his cell with faeces and threatened and abused female staff.

He has been involved in a riot, attacked jail workers after a self-harm incident and made a violent escape attempt, The Herald Sun reported.

‘I will get you. You are afraid because you know I will get you. Make no mistake, I will get one of you,’ Price told one guard only weeks ago.

Price established a pattern of intimidation and violence soon after being arrested, saying he had nothing to lose while threatening prison employees.

The notorious convict is considered one of Victoria’s most dangerous prisoners, and is escorted by the Security and Emergency Services Group when being moved.

His last court appearance was conducted by video link due to the risk he poses to the public.

That link then had to be cut when Price shouted obscenities and made sexual gestures.

‘F**** off, bitch. Where did you get that from, you f***ing lying skunk,’ he screamed as prosecutors made their submissions.

An upcoming hearing at a county court relates to the breaching of a supervision order.

Price killed 17-year-old Masa Vukotic after she went for an evening walk in a park in the Melbourne suburb of Doncaster.

He told police he killed her because she was dressed ‘like a yuppy’ and ‘she started talking to a bird like f***ing Snow White’.

Two days later he raped and assaulted a woman in the Christian bookstore where she worked, asking ‘Where’s your Jesus now?’ during the rape.

The victim – who reported suffering anxiety attacks years later – fought back.

She bit and scratched Price, gouging his eyes while he tried to strangle her.

‘I realised, like, she was fussing up too much and she was starting to change colours,’ Price told police.

‘I was like, “f*** not another one”.’

He victim told a court she thought he was going to kill her.

‘I seriously considered the fact that they were going to be my last moments,’ she testified.

‘I’m angry that I was raped and assaulted. I’m angry he took a young girl’s life.’

Price applied for legal aid for the breach charge, provoking outrage from victims groups.

The serial offender pleaded guilty to rape and assault in 2004.

In 2006 he reportedly attacked former prime minister Tony Abbott when he toured the Thomas Embling secure mental health facility as health minister.
