Mushroom Records reveals incredible lineup of Australia’s greatest artists for 50th anniversary concert – including Jimmy Barnes and Kate Ceberano

Australian music legends Jimmy Barnes, Kate Ceberano and Missy Higgins are set to perform at the Mushroom 50 Live concert.

The show, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mushroom Records, will take place on Sunday, 26th November at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

It will also include performances from Paul Kelly, Diesel, Hunter and Collectors, pop star Amy Shark, alternative rockers Birds of Tokyo, and singer Christine Anu.

First announced in March, Mushroom Group CEO Matt Gudinski said the concert will celebrate Australia’s most iconic songs and will be a ‘once in a lifetime event’.

The line-up also includes hip-hop act Bliss N Eso, Dan Sultan, DMA’s, Fred Loneragan from Machinations, and Frente, famed for their ’90s hit Accidently Kelly Street.

Legendary Cold Chisel guitarist and singer Ian Moss will also appear alongside Gordi and veteran performer Ross Wilson.

The Rubens, The Temper Trap, The Teskey Brothers, and ’90s duo Vika & Linda are also included in the lineup.

Fans can look forward to hearing 50 songs celebrating 50 years of Mushroom Records.

Some of the biggest hits to come out of the label include Jimmy Barnes’ Working Class Man, Holy Grail by the Hunters and Collectors, and Paul Kelly’s Before Too Long.

Mushroom has already launched a new series of music videos celebrating Australian music.

Mushroom, which would become a powerhouse in Australian music, was founded by the late Michael Gudinski in 1972.

His son Matt assumed the role of CEO of the Mushroom Group after Michael died in 2021.

Mushroom 50 Live tickets go on sale from Wednesday Wednesday, October 18, with pre-sales is happening from October 16.
