And the Australian actress, who was married to fellow actor Anthony LaPaglia for 17 years, says as she approaches age 60, she is not optimistic about finding love again.
‘I’m old enough and cynical enough to accept it may not happen’ the 59-year-old tells this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine.
‘But the romantic in me makes me believe it could’ the My Big Fat Greek Wedding star continued.
‘I’m definitely open to it, although I’m probably the only person who hasn’t tried the apps. I just don’t relate to it.

‘It feels like a job interview. I like good old real life… If there’s somebody I’m meant to meet, he will materialise’.
The pair’s split became public in 2015 when LaPaglia filed legal documents in the US citing irreconcilable differences, with the couple officially divorced a year later.
The former couple have one child together, daughter Bridget LaPaglia, 21.
Just three months after announcing the split, Anthony revealed he was romancing a a Melbourne woman, Alexandra Henkel, who was only 26 at the time.

LaPaglia, who resides in California, wed Carides in 1998 after they starred in the 1994 Australian film together, Lucky Break, known as Paperback Romance in America.
He is best known for portraying Jack Malone on drama series Without A Trace, a role which won him a Golden Globe Award in 2004.
