My Kitchen Rules’ Colin Fassnidge suffers a motorcycle accident in Sydney

My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge has narrowly avoided a serious injury after he crashed his motorcycle in Sydney on Friday.

The 44-year-old, who is known for his no-nonsense attitude on MKR, fortunately appeared to walked away from the accident with just a minor forearm injury.

While Colin did not provide a detailed account of the incident, he revealed on Instagram that he ‘woke up on the road’ with his motorcycle some distance away.

Colin shared a photo of his bloodied forearm, with his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle visible in the background.

The image appeared to have been taken near Colin’s restaurant 4fourteen, in the inner-city suburb of Surry Hills.

Sounding lucky to be alive, he wrote in the caption: ‘I’ve done something right [with] God… When [you] wake up on the road and your bike is at the end of it.’

In a follow-up video, Colin surveyed the damage to his motorcycle.

It seemed the Irish chef had lost control and the motorcycle ‘slid’ under him.

‘For sale Ninja, never been dropped, slid, maybe!’ he wrote, appearing to find some humour in the situation.

Fans rushed to the comments section to express their relief that Colin escaped without any serious injuries.

‘Bike can be replaced. You, sir, cannot,’ wrote one supporter, while another added: ‘Be careful, mate. You have angels in your life now.’
