Former My Kitchen Rules star Jessica Alvial gave birth to her second child, Chase Antonio Alvial, on Sunday.
The overdue reality star, 31, announced the arrival of her baby boy via Instagram from her hospital bed in Sydney.
Jess captioned a photo of herself cradling the newborn: ‘Welcome to the world our precious boy, Chase Antonio Alvial. 4.03kg, 56cm.’

Jess explained the child arrived with ‘no crying [and] so much hair’, before telling her followers she would be taking a break from social media to focus on motherhood.
‘What a marathon… I am logging off social media for a bit to spend as much time as I can with my boys,’ wrote the exhausted mother-of-two.
Jess already shares a four-year-old son, Ethan, with her husband Jason, who also shared the news on Instagram with friends and family.
‘Welcome to the world our beautiful son Chase. Mum and bub did amazing and Ethan is so pumped to welcome his little brother into the world. Nothing can beat this feeling,’ the proud father wrote.

Meanwhile, Jessica’s sister and MKR partner Emma Byron also took to the photo-sharing platform to boast about the family’s bundle of joy.
The bubbly blonde shared a selfie with her sister, as she joked: ‘Pre-pushing smiles, bet she won’t be smiling soon.’
After claiming she was acting as ‘doula Emma’, she wrote words of well wishes to her sibling: ‘mama did an amazing job pushing this bruiser out… Congrats to my beautiful sister.’
The aspiring cook also took time to cuddle up to her newest nephew, writing: ‘Baby Chase is to dieeeee for, it’s the most amazing thing to watch a baby come into the world, it was kinda like a train wreck. I was trying not to look but couldn’t look away. Not sure who was screaming more Jess or I anyone would swear 2 people were giving birth.’
