The ACCC has urged customers to stop using the brow gel immediately and to return it to its place of purchase for a full refund.

While the contaminated gel poses no serious risk to eyebrows or skin, it could cause irritation if it comes into contact with the eye.

The batch has an expiry date of October 31, 2019, with 17 products across the range potentially containing the bacteria.

Gimme Brow claims to create natural looking, fuller brows through microfibers that adhere to skin and hair.
