Presenter Myleene Klass has praised art supplies giant Crayola over its range of ‘multicultural color’ pens.

The mother-of-two revealed a friend told her about the collection after she had  posted on social media about ‘struggling to find mixed race colours’ for her daughters, Ava, 10, and Hero, six. 

The former pop star, who is half Austrian, half Filipino, shared her discovery with her 223,000 Instagram followers on Thursday.

The post, which was uploaded as part of her Story, featured a picture of the washable markers with a clapping hand emoji and a pink heart. 

She wrote: ‘No way!!!! After my post yesterday on struggling to find #mixedrace colours! @mimiandbaby sent me this [sic]’.

The star hosts a weekly show on Smooth Radio and is an ambassador and model for Littlewoods. 

She is also a popular presence on social media, where she keeps fans entertained with posts about motherhood and her daily goings-on.  

Crayola introduced its ‘multicultural color’ range in 1992 following feedback from customers, according to its website.

It is now available in products including crayons and washable markers.
