Myleene Klass reveals she turns to her teen daughters when things get too much because they are ‘so across it when it comes to mental health’

Myleene Klass has said she turns to her teen daughters when she is struggling to cope.

The former Hear’Say singer, 46, has daughters Ava, 16, and Hero, 13, with former husband Graham Quinn and explained that she thinks its ‘brilliant’ that her kids are so clued up when it comes to mental health.

She told MailOnline: ‘When things get on top of me, I need to show my daughters why I feel that way.

‘They’re so across it when it comes to mental health and it’s brilliant to see.

‘I just think they know they need to show how they feel and they’re very much into what they need to do.’

The I’m A Celebrity…South Africa winner – who is now engaged to Simon Motson and has son Apollo, four with him – returned to her seat on the Loose Women panel earlier this year after more than a decade away.

She explained that during this time round on the ITV show, so much has happened to her that she feels that she both she and the audience have grown since her first stint.

She added: ‘Last time I was on there, I didn’t have a son. I didn’t have a fiancé, and I think with all those life changes – I’ve got two teenagers now – I’ve got different things I can draw on.

‘I’ve got different experiences myself. It is a really interesting programme because it definitely grows with you and you grow with the viewers as well.

Meanwhile, Myleene has teamed up with Nutella to celebrate their 60th anniversary with The Smile Cafe, and thinks the concept of families going ‘back to basics’ at the device-free outlet is just what is needed in age of social media.

She said: ‘Every generation has its stamps, doesn’t it? Well, like with Nutella, it’s the idea of being able to put down all the devices, go into an interactive café where you can sit and play interactive games together…of all ages.

‘I think it’s really important.

‘I can only cook a few things, and one of them is pancakes! But the only thing I want to do is to get the message out there because right now there’s a lot of parents thinking ‘What am I going to do?! ‘

‘And on top of that, as well, it’s just nice to say like I say, come down, and the history has been incredible over 60 years.’

The Smile Café will be open from 30th May- 1st June 2024, located in Greek Street, London.

Opening times are 11-5pm (Thursday), 10-5pm (Friday) and 11-6pm (Saturday). On the day, limited availability for walk-ins will also be available
