Myleene Klass takes daughter Hero, 12, to a gala performance of Wicked

Myleene Klass enjoyed some quality time with her daughter Hero as they attended a gala performance of Wicked in London on Wednesday night.

The TV and radio presenter, 45, put on a glamorous display in a figure-hugging leopard print shift dress for the event celebrating the new cast in the popular musical.

The former pop star complemented her stylish look with a pair of chunky black heels, adding inches to her height as she and Hero posed outside the Apollo Theatre.

The beauty accessorised with a number of necklaces and large silver hoop earrings and toted her essentials in a black handbag.

Hero, 12, wore a black dress and shiny shoes.

Myleene and Hero were all smiles as they enjoyed the girls’ night out together.

The beauty, who is engaged to Simon Motson, shares son Apollo, two, with him, and they both have two children from previous relationships.

Myleene has Hero and Ava, while Simon has a son and daughter and the duo have formed a blended family of seven.

She shares her two daughters with her ex-husband Graham Quinn, who she split up from in 2013.

Myleene started dating Simon in 2015 and the pair got engaged in 2020 when he proposed on their fifth anniversary.

In 2021, she posted about celebrating  ‘Fakemas’ with their children so that they could all spend the day together.

She said she felt it was important to make the day ‘special’ and penned at the time: ‘As many of you gear up for xmas, we’ve already had ours!

‘We are a blended family of 7 and every other year, we have ‘Fakemas’ so that all the kids can celebrate together.

‘It’s not what I ever imagined or experienced myself, so I never initially knew how to make it work, but it somehow just does!’

‘All our children unanimously agree it’s not about the date but rather just being together.

‘I’m posting this as I know there are many of you in similar situations where life has thrown a curve ball and you just have to figure it out as you go.’

In 2021, she also gave a rare insight into becoming a step-mum as she appeared on the Made By Mammas: The Podcast, hosted by Dr Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton.

Of being a step-mum, she reflected: ‘It really takes you being the most mature you can possibly be, even when you don’t want to be.

‘And within ten minutes, that’d gone out of the window when one of them is hanging off the monkey bars and another is trying to put a ball through a window.’

‘In the end I just changed all that around and I sat them down around the table and said look, the only way we’re going to do this is, I see it as we’re all in a boat, this is how I view it.

‘And one of you rocks the boat, we’re all going to feel it. And if one of you goes overboard, I’m going to grab you and make sure you’re safe. That’s the only way we’re going to get through it is if we’re all in this together.

‘If anything gets a bit rocky or if anyone’s in trouble, we all just say “remember the boat”.’

This year, it has been reported that Myleene will be a latecomer to I’m A Celebrity All Stars.

The former pop star famously set pulses racing in 2006 by sporting a white two-piece in the outside shower and wore it last week for her birthday.

Now, it has been reported that she will be revisiting the look as she joins the South Africa show as a latecomer.

Since her appearance, a slew of female stars have tried to recreate her iconic shower scenes during their time in camp.

Myleene ultimately finished in second place, behind Matt Willis, and is heavily tipped to be one of the surprise latecomers to the All Stars camp, alongside Georgia Toffolo and Joe Swash.

Icon Gillian McKeith – who was renowned for her dramatic fainting scene – Dean Gaffney and Andrew Whyment could also be among those making a return on the South Africa show.

They are said to join previously announced stars Helen Flanagan, Carol Vorderman, Amir Khan, Janice Dickinson, Paul Burrell, Jordan Banjo, Shaun Ryder, Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tufnell.
