The couple are believed to be elderly and aged in their 70s.
Police visited the property after they were contacted by someone close to the couple via a letter, which said they may hurt themselves.
‘We can confirm there are two people deceased and we are investigating,’ a police spokesman said.
‘There is some indication that it may be a pact of some kind but until all the evidence is gathered we can’t say exactly what has happened.’
