There was nothing out of the ordinary when Renata Antczak, wearing a distinct, bright, yellow puffer jacket, dropped her daughter off at school.
But it was that image of the mother-of-two, 49, outside Broadacre Primary School in Hull, which was used as part of a national appeal to find her.
On what appeared to be a normal day, nobody knew it would turn out be the last time anyone would see her.
Six months on, mystery still surrounds her disappearance as the search continues.

Those who knew her were baffled by her disappearance. She appeared to have it all and was living a happy and successful life in the UK with her dentist husband Majid Mustafa, 47, and their two daughters.
Five days later, a major police appeal was launched to find the volunteer, who was originally from Poland.
On April 30, Humberside Police issued an appeal with an initial photo of Ms Antczak saying they were ‘concerned’ for the missing mother-of-two.
They said she had not been seen since April 25 and it was ‘out of character’ for her not to be in touch with her family.
A week later and friends became ‘deeply concerned’ over her wellbeing.
Alexandra Jastrzebska told the Hull Daily Mail: ‘I have known Renata for five years and I cannot believe she has been missing this long. We just don’t know what happened.’
The next month, it emerged that Ms Antczak returned home from the school in her car, before it is believed she left home at 1pm on foot.
Posters were put up in English and Polish across Hull and police appealed for anyone who saw her between 8.30am and 1pm on April 25 to contact them.
There was also an appeal to anyone who spotted Ms Antczak’s black Mercedes, with the registration plate WF31 PCX, to come forward.

On May 15, her husband, gave an interview to a national paper about her disappearance.
He said his wife had asked for a divorce in March and wanted to return to Poland.
But he believed she left the country and joined a cult following ‘months of bizarre behaviour’.
He said: ‘She started to wear different jewellery, especially a gold necklace, which she said took the bad energy from her.
‘I think she’s joined a sect. I don’t know what it’s called, but think she had contact with them when she went to Poland.’
It was this interview which sparked a dramatic twist to the investigation.
Police turned up at her house with sniffer dogs and were seen taking things from her home.
Mr Mustafa was led away into a car when police turned up at the property.
He initially told police he believed she had gone back to her native Poland to join a cult.
But, at the end of May, police confirmed there was no record of Ms Antczak leaving the UK and a murder inquiry was launched.

By June Mr Mustafa, and Robert Lipinski, 45, were charged with conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent against another male and conspiracy to administer a noxious substance against Ms Antczak, and Mr Lipinski’s wife, Anna Lipinski.
But despite court appearances and an initial trial date set for March next year, police struggled to pieces together what happened and no body has ever been found.
Mr Mustafa and Mr Lipinski had their charges dropped and were released from custody.
The whereabouts of Ms Antczak remains a mystery. To date, there have been no sightings, no trails and no body found in the investigation to lead to any answers over her fate.

Her friend Joanna Fratczak told the Hull Daily Mail: ‘I have been crying almost every day since she disappeared.
‘Renata and her husband were really well known in the Polish community in Hull. It has been a very difficult time for me and all her friends.
‘It must be awful for her family. I have spoken to her oldest daughter since and she is devastated and is having a difficult time.’
Humberside Police confirmed the investigation is still active.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Tony Cockerill said: ‘The disappearance of Renata Antczak is very much an active and ongoing investigation.
‘We continue to support Renata’s family through this difficult time.
