But Nadia Bartel (née Coppolino) decided to speak out on Friday, when she was cruelly taunted about her break-up by an Instagram troll.
An anonymous user made shocking and baseless claims about the Bartels’ marriage, prompting Nadia to defend herself in the comments section.

The Instagram troll had claimed that Nadia might want to avoid flying with budget airline Jetstar in case she bumps into Jimmy’s rumoured new girlfriend.
They also made other false allegations about the state of Jimmy and Nadia’s marriage before their recent separation.
Nadia’s supporters flocked to her defence, with one woman writing: ‘What a cold-hearted, unnecessary and insensitive thing to say… Shame on you.’

In response to this comment, the troll wrote: ‘Well, if they have a breakdown over one comment, maybe get off Insta and spend more time in the real world. Getting a real job might help also #notsorry.’
It was this cruel remark about Nadia not having a ‘real job’ that prompted the fashion blogger to step in and address her troll directly.
She replied: ‘Try writing from a real account. Don’t hide. I have numerous real jobs.’

‘They’re not talking,’ an anonymous friend of the Bartels’ said last week. ‘It’s definitely over. [Nadia] is completely blindsided.’
The Bartels are yet to reveal why they split, but Nadia hasn’t worn her wedding ring for weeks and the pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
They were last pictured together on social media back in June, when they were both guests at a friend’s wedding in Melbourne.

Nadia and Jimmy first met in 2008 while attending the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix. The former Geelong Cats player proposed four years later in Mexico.
The couple then married in an elaborate wedding on the Bellarine Peninsula in 2014.
They share custody of two sons: three-year-old Aston and nine-month-old Henley.
