Nadia Fairfax and Kristin Fisher fall out after eyebrow queen’s cocaine scandal

Sydney’s elite social set has been rocked by rumours that former best friends Nadia Fairfax and Kristen Fisher have fallen out.

Fairfax, an influential fashion blogger, and Fisher, a Double Bay eyebrow artist, were once joined at the hip, but the pair seem to have cut ties in the wake of Fisher’s recent cocaine scandal.

Fisher was allegedly caught buying cocaine on July 17, after her drug dealer was pulled over by police for driving erratically in Bondi.

The cocaine drama went unnoticed by the media for months, before suddenly making headlines last week.

Fisher, 36, and Fairfax, 32, unfollowed each other on Instagram at about this time, but it’s unclear why.

When Daily Mail Australia contacted the women for comment on Tuesday, they quietly refollowed each other on the social media app.

Fairfax also insisted she hadn’t fallen out with Fisher – despite rumours of their rift being the talk of the eastern suburbs.

‘What you’re speculating is factually incorrect,’ she said.

‘Kristin and I have had a wonderful friendship over the years and I continue to wish her well throughout her current situation, and no doubt you’ll hear the same from Kristin.

‘I had no prior knowledge of the [cocaine] incident, and found out just like everyone else through the media.’

In March, months before the cocaine scandal broke, Fisher had served as a bridesmaid at Fairfax’s multimillion-dollar wedding to financier Michael Wayne.

Fisher’s daughter, Lila, was a flower girl at the ritzy nuptials, which were held at a heritage-listed mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.

Documenting the occasion at the time, Fisher uploaded images of herself celebrating with Fairfax, adding the caption: ‘Our best friends’ wedding.’

But in the weeks since the cocaine saga, Fairfax and Fisher have been untagged in each other’s Instagram photos from the wedding.

On the evening of July 17, Fisher was allegedly caught buying cocaine after her drug dealer was pulled over by police for driving erratically.

Police found her in the backseat of the dealer’s Kia Rio in Bondi.

The car was initially pulled over for allegedly illegally overtaking another vehicle, but police say Fisher’s suspicious behaviour prompted them to investigate further.

Officers allegedly found two bags of cocaine at the mother of two’s feet, claiming she was ‘frantic’ and tried to leave the car through the opposite side door.

Court documents claim she attempted ‘to leave the vehicle and evade police interaction’.

When police asked the driver how she knew Fisher, they allege the dealer was unable to give any details or even tell officers her name.

The beautician allegedly told officers she’d been picked up from her Double Bay home to purchase the drugs but claimed she hadn’t handed over any cash.

Fisher was convicted and fined $550 after she failed to appear in Waverley Court last Tuesday charged with possessing a prohibited drug and failing to comply with public health orders.

However, Fisher has since started proceedings to have her conviction overturned.

Her solicitor, Michael Bowe, hopes to have her conviction annulled when the matter returns to Waverley Court on October 6.

Fisher insisted she wasn’t aware of the September 21 court date and would have been present if she had known, Mr Bowe said.
