She’s the supermodel best known for her diva antics which once saw her throw a mobile phone at her former assistant.
But Naomi Campbell appears to be embracing her softer side, acting as mentor to young Australian model Chantal Monaghan.
21-year-old Chantal has just wrapped up her 10th consecutive show for Jean Paul Gaultier, one of the most prestigious fashion houses in the world.

Speaking to Confidential, the statuesque model recalled the exhilarating moment she stepped off the catwalk and saw an SMS from Naomi.
‘She said, ‘You look beautiful’ Chantal said. ‘It was amazing’.
Chantal was also given the ‘amazing’ coveted honour of closing the prestigious fashion show.
‘You’re the first face they see at the end,’ she explained. ‘You lead all the models and you’re the one at the front’.
Chantal, whose father is Nigerian, has become an in-demand catwalk star in recent years. It hit a high note in October last year when the mixed-race model landed an exclusive campaign with Tom Ford.

The good news came after Chantal learned she had missed out on a coveted spot walking for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in September.
Not that she seemed bothered by the rejection, at the time telling the Daily Telegraph that she will try again for a place on the lingerie brand’s runway.
Chantal was discovered on the 2014 season of model search The Face, which helped launch her international career.
