The Friend was executive produced by Naomi and she also stars in it as a writer who inherits a 150lb Great Dane after her best friend and mentor Walter commits suicide.
The drama about loss also stars Bill Murray and currently holds a 100% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
