Cannes Film Festival is getting into full swing as the stars have begun arriving in France in their droves for the event.

And Naomie Harris looked chic in a black blazer as she touched down at Nice airport onThursday ahead of the glitzy premieres.

The James Bond actress, 46, completed her look with denim jeans and chunky boots while accessorising with huge dark shades.

Also making her arrival was Indian actress Freida Pinto who showed off her sense of style in a grey and white checked co-ord.

She slung her bags over her shoulders and made her way through the crowds in the terminal.

The model, 26, was listening to something on his headphones after touching down in sunny France.

The Cannes red carpet is springing to life again as the 76th Film Festival got underway with the premiere of the Louis XV period drama Jeanne du Barry on Tuesday.

And on Wednesday, the Monster premiere took place at the iconic film festival with celebs such as Gemma Chan and Amy Jackson in attendance.

The films synopsis reads: ‘When her young son Minato starts to behave strangely, his mother feels that there is something wrong. Discovering that a teacher is responsible, she storms into the school demanding to know what’s going on.

The world’s biggest film festival will conclude with the Closing Ceremony on May 27.

Protests that have roiled France in recent months over changes to its pension system are planned to run during the festival, albeit at a distance from the festival’s main hub.

Meanwhile, an ongoing strike by screenwriters in Hollywood could have unpredictable effects on the French Riviera festival.

‘My wife is currently picketing with my 6-month-old, strapped to her chest,’ Paul Dano, a juror, said Tuesday, referencing Zoe Kazan.

‘I will be there on the picket line when I get back home.’

But with a festival lined with some much-anticipated big-budget films, including James Mangold’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of the Destiny’ and Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ the party is sure to go on.
