Napoli have suffered a blow ahead of their Champions League group clash at Liverpool as forward Lorenzo Insigne has been ruled out due to injury.
The 28-year-old played 65 minutes of Napoli’s 1-1 draw with AC Milan at the weekend but has sustained an elbow injury.
Insigne was not included in the Serie A side’s travelling party to Liverpool on Monday.

Napoli secured a 2-0 victory over Jurgen Klopp’s Reds in the reverse fixture in Italy earlier in the season.
Insigne did not score in that tie but he has scored four goals and supplied six assists in 15 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
Liverpool have leapfrogged Napoli in Group H and sit one point above Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side secured a 2-0 victory over Reds in the reverse fixture earlier in season
