Natalie Bassingthwaighte, 42, led the celebrity arrivals at the 18th annual Helpmann Awards at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on Monday.

The popular performer commanded attention in a ravishing red dress as she joined Casey Donovan and Rob Mills at the star-studded soirée.

The blonde star wowed onlookers as she arrived in a floor-sweeping scarlet gown to the performing arts night of nights.

Natalie is poised to play Barbra Streisand’s Oscar-winning character Fanny Price, in a new musical adaptation of the 1968 film Funny Girl.

The petite blonde barely had an inch to pinch in the form-fitting bodycon dress, which fell effortlessly over her svelte frame. 

She paired her feminine frock with a glitzy silver necklace and a pair of towering heels. 

The former soap star complemented her scarlet number by opting for a pop of rouge lipstick.

Natalie continued to channel her inner screen siren as she swept her blonde tresses into a curl side twist.
