Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley is reportedly set to quit midway through his 10th AFL season at the helm.

Nathan Buckley is reportedly poised to step down as Collingwood coach midway through the AFL season.

The Age has reported Buckley was set to inform the football department and playing group of his decision on Wednesday morning.

The move comes after the Magpies had said they would leave a call on the out-of-contract 48-year-old’s coaching future until the second half of the year – his 10th at the helm.

Collingwood has recorded three wins from 12 games this year after making the top eight last season.

The club will hold a press conference later Wednesday morning
