Nathan Lyon’s ex-partner Melissa Waring has moved into a ‘desirable’ home in Canberra she paid just under $1.4 million for in April.
The Australian spin bowler, 32, has been living with his glamorous blonde girlfriend Emma McCarthy, 29, in Sydney, before departing for the Australian cricket team’s tour of England on Sunday.
Ms Waring, 32, bought the Farrer home, which has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, in April but has only recently moved in and started settling down.
The mother-of-two posted a picture of her younger daughter Milla, five, jumping on the couch in their new home while surrounded by boxes on Thursday night.
‘Going to be a late night unpacking and an early start without curtains in my room!’ Ms Waring captioned the post.

Ms Waring announced on Instagram the house, which sold for $1.365million back in April, was ‘officially ours’.
‘In one of the most desirable and tightly held streets in Woden, this grand family home has been updated, renovated and extended for the new owners to simply move in & enjoy the new chapter of their live,’ the property description read.
Across the spacious 1,431 square metre block, the home has a large back yard, entertaining deck and outdoor kitchen.
Among the five bedrooms is also a ‘parent’s retreat’ master bedroom with an ensuite, entertainment area and views of Isaacs Ridge and Black Mountain.

The home is also close to a number of schools, which is convenient for Lyon and Ms Waring’s two daughters – Harper, 6, and Milla, 5 – to attend.
The children seem to be settling in well in Canberra with Ms Waring recently posting a picture of Milla in her school uniform.
‘Back to school for her 2 days transition this week. First day of winter uniform. And she was nervous to go without Harper,’ she captioned the post.
While Lyon’s daughters have been settling down in Canberra, the 32-year-old cricketer has been living with his girlfriend Ms McCarthy, 29, in Sydney.

The couple both posted selfies on Sunday night to announce they would be apart while Lyon represents Australia in the UK.
‘And I am off again! Hard good byes this time around! But thank you Emma for all your love and support!’ Lyon wrote.
Meanwhile, Ms McCarthy wrote: ‘The last 6 months have been filled with some of our best memories yet! This goodbye was harder than most but I’m excited to see you doing what you love!’
Lyon is currently training with the Australian cricket team in Derby ahead of their first T20 fixture in Southhampton at 3am on September 5 (AEST).

It comes after Lyon and Ms Waring recently sold their shared $3.8million family home in Sydney following a very public split in 2017.
The four-bedroom mansion, which overlooked the Royal National Park in the south Sydney suburb of Port Hacking, was sold in April 2019 for an undisclosed price, The Sunday Telegraph reported.
The off-spinner, 31, bought the Sutherland Shire property for $3.8million in 2016, and had lived there with Mel and their two daughters before their relationship fell apart.

The couple, who share custody of their children, broke up about one year later when the sportsman began dating glamorous blonde Emma McCarthy.
His decade-long relationship came crashing down when Daily Mail Australia photographed him passionately kissing Ms McCarthy in Perth, at the end of 2017.
The mother-of-two said at the time she was left ‘devastated’ by seeing photos of her partner of ten years with the glamorous blonde.

His new relationship has appeared to go from strength-to-strength, with Emma heading on overseas holidays with the cricketer and joining the bowler in England for the World Cup and the Ashes.
