It’s one of Britain’s most popular banking services, but it appears that the Nationwide app has gone down today.
According to Down Detector, more than 2,000 customers across the country were affected by an outage at around 12pm BST today.
Of those who reported problems, 69 per cent said they were having issues with mobile banking.

Meanwhile, 22 per cent said they couldn’t access account balances and 9 per cent said they couldn’t make funds transfers.
Down Detector gets network status updates from various sources including social media and reports submitted to its website.
Several frustrated users have taken to X to discuss the outage.
One posted: ‘Any one else having problems with accessing Nationwide online banking? #nationwide’
Another replied: ‘Yup! Can’t access any accounts!’
