Speaking to nutritionist Jessica Sepel, Reece said no matter what, each day starts with a fasted workout – either strength or cardio training – followed by two breakfasts.

‘Firstly, I whip up a quick smoothie. I keep it super simple: frozen raspberries and raw cacao for antioxidants, unflavoured whey protein for muscle recovery, a dollop of Greek yoghurt for probiotics, then unsweetened almond milk to blend,’ he said.

‘Then I have my real breakfast (yes, I eat a lot).’

He then concludes the day with a big pot of herbal tea – his favourite being a handful of lemon balm and peppermint from his garden with a slice of lemon.

Interestingly, Reece said that while he doesn’t believe in ‘restrictive eating’, massage is a great way to curb sugar cravings.

‘I don’t like to think of myself as having “cheat” or “binge” foods,’ he explained.

‘Instead, I treat myself to a massage when I’m stressed so that I’m not tempted to use food as a crutch. I probably go once a week!’

Reece also launched a four week wellness program dubbed an ‘un-diet’ inspired by his own eating plan.

This plan, he says, pulls out common irritants from the diet and ensures adequate levels of commonly deficient nutrients – namely B vitamins and magnesium – are met every day.

‘These nutrients are essential for the human body’s production of energy, metabolic processes, and mood regulation,’ his site reads.
