NBA: LeBron James links up with soccer stars at in Paris with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire

LeBron James has been spotted with fellow pals and actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in Paris – a day after appearing in France’s capital for Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Fashion Week show.

On Wednesday, ‘The King’ reportedly joined soccer players at the five-star Hotel Plaza Athenee in the city’s eighth arrondissement, near Les Champs-Elysees, after leaving the lavish Le Cheval Blanc hotel, thought to be where he’s staying with his wife Savannah.

The LA Lakers superstar, 38, wore a plain white t-shirt, tucked in stylish blue pants, completing his look with three silver chains, a silver watch with a turquoise crystal dial, and a blue and orange cap from his own brand, Uninterrupted.

DiCaprio and Maguire, on the other hand, looked nearly identical, as both movie stars arrived at the hotel in dominantly black outfits while wearing COVID-19 masks.

It’s unclear why the two actors and James were at the $2,100-per-night hotel or who the soccer players in attendance were.

James has been spending part of his summer in France, after the Lakers’ Western Conference Finals exit to the Denver Nuggets in May, and has been spotted with fellow NBA star and friend Draymond Green, fueling rumors that the Warriors star could be looking to join his pal in LA.

The billionaire and basketball player was seen heading for dinner with his childhood sweetheart, Savannah, and Chloe Green – the daughter of British retail millionaire, Philipp – in Cannes, located on the French Riviera, earlier this week.

Earlier in June, the four-time NBA champ’ hit the 24 Hour of Le Mans — the world’s oldest active endurance racing event.

Not only did James get a prime viewing spot but he also had the privilege of being this year’s honorary starter, which, since 1949, has typically been given to a celebrity.

Previous honorary starters have included Rafael Nadal, Brad Pitt and Steve McQueen.

James – a four-time league MVP and arguably one of the best basketball players ever – has yet to decide on his NBA future after revealing that he has ‘a lot to think about’ this offseason.

The Lakers are certainly counting on their franchise player to continue his career, rather than to choose to retire after LA was swept by Denver.

‘We’ll see what happens going forward,’ James said in the final answer of his May 22 postgame news conference. ‘I don’t know. I don’t know. I’ve got a lot to think about, to be honest. Just for me personally going forward with the game of basketball, I’ve got a lot to think about.’

James is under contract for $46.9million next season with the Lakers, but he is in charge of his future after surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s career scoring record earlier this year.

He hasn’t previously suggested much personal conflict about finishing his contract alongside Anthony Davis and Co., and his play hasn’t significantly declined after two decades in the NBA — although his health has grown less sturdy, particularly in his balky feet and ankles.

‘It’s all about availability for me and keeping my mind sharp, and things of that nature,’ said James, who wishes to play with his eldest son, Bronny Jr. once the incoming college freshman is drafted into the league, hopefully by the 2024-25 season.

‘Being present on the floor, being present in the locker room and bus rides and plane rides, things of that nature. It’s challenging, for sure. It was a very challenging season for me, for our ballclub, and obviously we know whatever went on early on (in the Lakers’ 2-10 start to the season). It was cool, a pretty cool ride.’

James missed a month of the regular season with a foot injury down the stretch, but he returned with a series of stellar playoff performances while the Lakers knocked off second-seeded Memphis and eliminated defending champion Golden State.
