NBC mocks up Olympic dressage to Snoop Dogg hit ‘Gin And Juice’ as rapper opens up on Paris event

Olympic viewers can’t get enough of Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg on live TV, as NBC hilariously played one of the rapper’s all-time hits during its coverage of the dressage grand prix freestyle in Paris.  

Stewart and Snoop Dogg, who share a 31-year age difference, were on the network’s Olympic studio in front of the Eiffel Tower on Sunday night, when producers showed Polish rider Sandra Sysojeva with her horse… ‘Gin & Juice.’ 

And right as a clip of Sysojeva’s performance starts playing, Snoop Dogg’s classic from 1994 – ‘Gin and Juice’ – comes on at the same time, and much to the audience’s delight, the horse skips to the song’s beat while Snoop Dogg modifies a few lyrics on the spot.

‘Get cracking… to the front from the back… With so much drama in Par-is… It’s kind of hard bein’ the H-O-R-S-E…,’ the rapper belted out. 

Stewart then informed her fellow NBC correspondent that it’s ‘a lot harder’ for horses to go sideways on four feet than on two. 

Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart have both attended several dressage events at the Olympics

‘Are you sure?’ Snoop Dogg replied before putting on a demonstration on TV. 

The rapper, whose full name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., then revealed that dressage is his new favorite sport to watch in-person and from his couch.

‘I didn’t realize that I really love the chemistry of the driver and the horse,’ Snoop Dogg told NBC’s Mike Tirico. 

‘I call them drivers because they actually drive [the horses]. It felt good sitting in the audience, watching it [dressage] and seeing it all take place.’

Stewart chimed in by saying that Snoop Dogg – her close friend and business partner – ‘thought it was very exciting.’

The rapper even fed some horses despite his fear of riding them, as previously disclosed on TV

Snoop Dogg has been working as a correspondent for NBC during the two-week Paris Games

‘I did,’ Snoop Dogg confirmed. 

Stewart then added: ‘We watched about four different riders yesterday and it was extraordinary.’

‘And I fed the horses,’ Snoop Dogg said. ‘I’m actually really scared of horses so for me to do that I feel like I’m going somewhere…’

On Saturday, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart left fans in stitches as they donned full equestrian outfits at the Dressage Team Grand Prix Special at the Chateau de Versailles.
