One theory doing the rounds is that Chrishell, who is married to Australian musician G Flip, may help to create a new audience for the distinctly Aussie show, which is currently screening on Amazon.
‘I guess this is part of their [Neighbours’ producers) continued efforts to drive new viewers to the show in the US,’ commented one viewer on industry blog Media Spy.
‘Chrishell is a pretty good get by the show [and] obviously has ties to Australia now being married to G Flip,’ added another.

An executive producer for the series said viewers could ‘expect intrigue and surprises – and many implications for the residents of Ramsay Street’ when Stause’s character makes her debut.
The big news comes after Stause addressed partner G Flip’s December claim that the lovebirds are planning to have children together.

And she didn’t leave the red carpet without giving fans a hint that she and her love, 30, are taking a big step toward starting a family, reported Access Hollywood.
‘Our [family] update is in season eight. We really opened up on the show. So, I would hate to tell you now,’ she told reporter Lauren Herbert, unable to contain her smile.
‘And I have a little bit more time of peace before everybody knows so let me relish in that please.’
