During the episode, Mike (played by Guy Pearce) laid his feelings on the line for Jane (Annie Jones) and it proved to be the happy ending fans across the world needed.
‘The reality is I’m still in love with you. Probably more now than I ever used to be,’ he told an emotional Jane.
