And Olympia Valance has revealed what she really thinks about Amazon saving the show after it was axed last year.
The former soap star, 30, who returned to the supposed finale last year alongside her sister Holly, said she was ‘happy’ the Channel Ten show got a second chance.
She described the series is ‘a great training ground’ for budding actors.
‘I think it’s really great that it’s been picked up again. It’s such a great show for all ages,’ she told Daily Mail Australia at her friend Lauren Mackellar’s ROBE Haircare launch..
‘But it’s also such a great training ground for young Australian actors that are starting out.’

‘It was such a great opportunity for me and so many other Aussie actors starting out in the industry.
‘I’m happy that it gets to continue for more people too.’
Olympia followed in her sister Holly’s footsteps in 2014 when she kickstarted her acting career by joining Neighbours as the character Smith.

She left in 2017 to pursue film and television roles in Los Angeles, but returned to Australia in 2018 to star in Network Ten’s sports drama Playing For Keeps.
The brunette beauty reprised her role as Paige in 2020 for the 35th anniversary of the show and in 2022 for what was meant to be Neighbours’ final episodes.
To Olympia’s delight, the long-running soap will be back on air in September on both Channel Ten and Amazon’s Prime Video.

Among the new cast members coming to Ramsay Street will be a same-sex couple with two children, the Varga-Murphy family.
Wives Cara and Remi are played by actresses Sara West and Naomi Rukavina, while their two sons, JJ and Dex, are portrayed by Riley Bryant and Marley Williams.
‘I’m so honoured to be a part of the new Neighbours legacy and really looking forward to bringing the Varga-Murphy family to Australian and international screens,’ Sara West said in a statement.
