Neil Young is bringing his The Love Earth Tour to a close early, after members of his Crazy Horse group have fallen ill.
The 78-year-old singer made a surprise comeback in 2023, before launching his first tour in five years, a 13-date show in the summer of 2023.
Then in February 2024, Neil Young + Crazy Horse announced their Love Earth Tour, in support of their new album F***in’ Up.
The tour kicked off this April in San Diego, though they haven’t performed since their stop at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan outside of Detroit on May 22.
Now the singer revealed through his Neil Young Archives website that the remainder of the tour will be postponed while they fully recover.

‘The Love Earth Tour has been a great experience for us so far. Great audiences and music. We have had a blast!’ the group’s statement began.
‘When a couple of us got sick after Detroit’s Pine Knob, we had to stop. We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break,’ they added.
The NYA website revealed in late May that shows in Chicago, Austin and Dallas would be postponed, and now the whole tour will be rescheduled.
‘We will try to play some of the dates we miss as time passes when we are ready to rock again!’ the statement continued.
‘We know many of you made travel plans and apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding and patience,’ the group added.
The group concluded, ‘Health is # 1…. We want to stay and do more shows and more albums for you…. and for for us…. With love and thanks to all of you from Crazy Horse….. Neil, Micah, Ralph and Billy… Love Earth.’
The next stop on the original schedule was to be in Toronto on Monday, July 8 followed by shows in Ottawa, London, Ontario, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.
The show was then going to come back to the States on July 25 in Bend, Oregon, along with shows in George, Washington, Boise, Salt Lake City, Denver, Louisville, Dana Point, California with a final stop at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Young made headlines back in January 2022 when he demanded that his music be removed from the Spotify streaming service because they hosted The Joe Rogan Experiment podcast, due to the misinformation the podcast spread about COVID-19.
‘Spotify has a responsibility to mitigate the spread of misinformation on its platform,’ Young said in a statement.
Young and Crazy Horse’s music was removed two days later, with other artists such as Joni Mitchell and Crosby Stills and Nash also having their music removed in solidarity.
Young returned his music to Spotify in March 2024 as Rogan’s contract ended allowing his podcast to be dispersed on other platforms.
