Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes has revealed her husband Gregg, 67, Leakes is dying.
On Saturday night, the 53-year-old shared the news with patrons at her Atlanta lounge that husband Gregg ‘is transitioning to the other side’ amid his ongoing cancer battle.
Nene – real name Linnethia Monique Johnson – addressed the crowd at Linnethia Lounge and spoke about Gregg’s condition, as she urged people to show her ‘some love and respect’.

Nene decided to address the crowd inside the lounge after she was branded ‘rude’ for not wishing somebody in the club ‘happy birthday’.
In footage shared on Instagram, Nene grabbed a microphone and addressed club-goers about the serious matter.
‘My husband is transitioning to the other side,’ she said in a video shared by media outlet Onsite!.
Turning to speak directly with the group that criticized her, she said: ‘You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge, because this is our business.’

She continued: ‘So, when people approach and say “you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday” — my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say happy birthday, OK?
‘So please give us some respect. Give us some love.’
The woman who recorded the video could be heard sympathizing with Nene as she spoke.
The reality star’s husband Gregg was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018.
In June, Nene revealed that Gregg’s cancer had returned after he had been in remission since 2019.
Real estate investor Gregg returned home last month, following a six-week stint undergoing treatment at a medical facility.

At the time, the self-described serial entrepreneur pulled out of a planned appearance hosting The Talk in order to welcome her husband home after he was discharged.
According to Page Six, Nene shared at the time: ‘If you’ve ever been around somebody who’s had cancer before, he’s different. He’s different.’
Nene said: ‘I’d love for everybody to pray for Gregg, that would be beautiful. Pray for his strength. And pray for me too.’
Earlier in the night, ahead of taking to the stage, Nene mustered up a smile and appeared in seemingly good spirits as she danced with actor and TV personality Kendall Kyndall.
In a video clip that Nene re-posted to her Instagram Stories, Kendall was heard saying: ‘Come on Nene,’ encouraging her to move along to music with him. Kendall shouted in the clip, ‘Nene, where you at?’
The two were together to film an interview for the ALLBLK show Social Society.

Despite Gregg’s health deteriorating, it’s been business as usual for Nene who has been putting on a brave face while continuing to work.
Earlier this month, the mother-of-two shared smiling images to social media as she promoted her popular club, which hosts productions and parties.
However, Nene appeared to be struggling as she took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a photo of the word ‘broken’.
Deciding against sharing a caption, Nene instead added a broken heart emoji and one of hands praying to the picture.

She and Gregg have been together for over 20 years, first marrying in 1997.
They were married for 13 years, before separating in 2010 and Nene filing for divorce. Their divorce was finalised a year later in September 2011.
In 2013, Nene and Gregg confirmed they had got back together and announced they were engaged in again.
They remarried in June later that year, with Bravo airing a spin-off show titled I Dream Of Nene: The Wedding that followed the couple as they planned their second wedding and tied the knot.
The pair are parents to son Brentt, 22, and live together in Atlanta. Nene is also mum to son Bryson, 31, and both her children had walked her down the aisle during the ceremony of her second wedding to Gregg.
Long-standing: Nene and Gregg have been together for over 20 years – they first married in 1997 and split in 2010, before confirming their reunion three years later and remarrying
