Netflix fans mock new documentary as ‘bizarre’ and call it ‘intense propaganda’

A new Netflix documentary has left Brits perplexed with some branding it ‘bizarre’ and ‘intense propaganda’.

Viewers were miffed that Netflix had commissioned 24 Hours in Tesco, with the film following the staff at the supermarket giant.

Netflix describes the documentary as ‘a one-off special exploring the secrets behind Britain’s biggest supermarket chain, and unpacking what 24 hours at Tesco really looks like’.

Viewers on social media were divided, with some thinking the 43-minute-long documentary simply served as an advert for the retailer.

Meanwhile, others praised the retailer, with one even claiming they ditched their night out to stay in to watch the Tesco documentary.
