While Netflix don’t usually release specific viewership data, according to Deadline, Warrior Nun spent three weeks on Netflix’s Top 10, peaking at #5.

The show had a small but dedicated fan base, though it seemingly wasn’t enough to justify a third season.

Late last year the show’s cancellation was confirmed by Simon, who wrote on Twitter: ‘I’ve just found out that @netflix will not be renewing #WarriorNun – my sincere appreciation to all the fans who worked so hard to bring awareness to this series, and for the love you showed me, the cast and the whole production team. It was a privilege to be a part of this.’

When asked at the time if the show could be saved by another network, he said the team was ‘looking into it’ and were finding out if there was a ‘path’ to be able to move it to another platform.
