Bluey’s sister Bingo has a balloon under her T-shirt that suddenly bursts, and their father Bandit grabs their mum Chilli’s hand.
‘Bandit’s first reaction is not to comfort their children, but to comfort his wife,’ World.Shaker explained.
‘Quite frankly, I think the reason they weren’t so obvious about it is because there’s not really any great way to explain to a child what a miscarriage is,’ he added.
While ‘rainbow baby’ is mostly used to describe a healthy baby born after a mother’s previous miscarriage, it can also refer to a child born after stillbirth or infant death.

‘It’s important to remember that Bluey has never been a show that shies away from difficult topics, especially through the lens of a child, including bullying, divorce, premature birth and even death.
‘But seeing as though Bluey is a parents’ show that kids happen to enjoy, I think it’s a little bit more obvious to the parents who are watching.’
Fans were stunned by the theory, with one replying: ‘Wow, thanks for making me cry today.’
Another added: ‘Literally every time I see the scene where he takes his wife’s hand it makes me literally tear up and I don’t even know why.’
