New images of a smartphone designed by the brother of an infamous Colombian drug lord emerged on Monday.
Earlier this month, Roberto Escobar unveiled his $349 Pablo Escobar Fold 1 that boasts two 7.8-inch screens, folds into a tablet and is said to be ‘unbreakable’.
The pictures include an image of a priest blessing the device and Roberto holding his creation while standing next to a portrait of his dead brother.
Pablo Escobar led the Medellin Cartel in Columbia and died by gunshot during a police standoff in 1993.
Although Roberto Escobar was the former accountant and co-founder of the Medellin Cartel, he has walked away from the family business to start a technology business.

He said he ‘cut the networks and retailers’, with the goal of enticing iOS users and ‘beat Apple’ -which he said is scamming customers.
‘I have told many people that I would beat Apple and I will. I cut the networks and retailers, to sell to customers phones that can fold for only $349, phones which in stores cost thousands of dollars by Samsung and others. This is my goal, to beat Apple, and by doing it myself like I always have.’
He also has plans to file a $30 billion class-action lawsuit against the Cupertino company on January 6, 2020 for being ‘scammers’ and ‘cheating the people and selling worthless phones’, Escobar told DigitalTrends.

The smartphone, according to Escobar, was designed around providing users with better security.
It features ‘special security’ that makes it hard to scan via Bluetooth or for the government to access, and it will also feature a ‘thin layer of metal’ that blocks RFID and ‘other communications.’
