A new trend is flooding TikTok with social media users dressing moms in their clothing, with some hilarious and age-defying results ensuing.
The ‘turning my mom into me’ videos show moms wearing their own clothing to begin with before they leave the room and return modeling younger-looking, flesh-baring fashions of their offspring.
The hashtag has amassed more than 4.7 million views, at the time of writing, on the video-sharing platform.
Emily Gilbert, who appears to be from the US, filmed a particularly radical transformation of her mom wearing her own floral print T-shirt and leggings only to return in a sexier ensemble consisting of a mini skirt, a midriff-baring top, a leather jacket and black shades.

To complete the sassy look, Gilbert’s mom slicked her blonde hair back and donned a pair of gold hooped earrings.
The TikToker captioned the video, which has since been viewed more than two million times: ‘Wasn’t prepared for her to legit SLAY!?? (sic)’
Thousands of viewers have given the mom’s style swap the thumbs up.
