A TikToker has become a viral star after documenting all of the discounts and deals at Bed Bath & Beyond as the brand shuts down its stores.
Ellie Maeda has taken to the video-sharing platform in recent weeks to chronicle the developments at the brand’s flagship New York outlet.
The 27-year-old has visited the home goods store every day for nearly three weeks to inspect the latest sales.
Ellie, originally from Boston, said she was not sure that anyone else would be interested in the updates – but she was soon flooded with praise from other social media users who thanked her ‘for her service.’

Ellie said she that, in light of the news, the store in her hometown had already been ransacked and so she decided to check in on the store in Manhattan.
She posted her first insight to TikTok on April 28 in the form of a slideshow to showcase the various departments and respective sale signs.
And she has since gone back every day, telling Insider that she usually visits the store at 10am and browses the aisles for about 15 minutes in what has become a daily ritual.
Ellie admitted that she is yet to buy anything for herself as she awaits the best deal.

She said that the only bedding that was at 40 per cent discount currently were duvet covers as she vowed to ‘manifest’ that it drops to 50 per cent.
And Ellie’s insights have been flooded with praise.
One wrote: ‘You are my hero thank you for doing this.’
Another added: ‘Me checking your page every hour like “Did Ellie post today yet?”‘
And a third said: ‘You’re doing everyone a huge blessing.’
Ellie said that she plans on continuing to document the discounts until the store officially closes.
