New Zealand madam now teaching men how to get a girlfriend

A female brothel owner in New Zealand is now running classes to teach men how they can get a Kiwi girlfriend.

The new course is the brainchild of United States-born Antonia Murphy, 43, and is designed to give men the tools they need to date confidently.

Ms Murphy told FEMAIL that many of her immigrant clients struggled to get a girlfriend in New Zealand.

‘There are guys who have come in to see us and have said they are quite lonely for a Kiwi girlfriend but don’t know how to go about getting one.’

She said as well as a language barrier, cultural differences also made it difficult for those immigrants to understand how dating worked in New Zealand.

‘These things are easy to learn,’ she said. ‘It’s not hard to learn how to flirt in a respectful non-threatening way.

‘It’s not hard to learn how to send a playful text, and it’s certainly not hard to learn how to get explicit consent before initiating any sexual contact.’

Ms Murphy said she saw the course as a a positive way to change the men’s views on what behaviours might be socially acceptable.

She also said that although the course was created with new immigrants in mind, the classes were open to anyone who was interested.

The new course called ‘Kiwi Kissing Coach’ runs over three sessions and costs $350.

Each class has a particular focus and the sessions are offered by the escorts who work for Ms Murphy.

The first part looks at how a man can approach a woman they find attractive, start a conversation and exchange phone numbers.

‘You’ll meet your coach in a public place, such as a local café,’ Ms Murphy’s website reads.

The second session teaches men how to flirt via text messaging in a way that’s ‘playful and flirtatious without coming on too strong.’

‘Texting language is explained as well as how to use emoji ‘to make her smile,’ the site’s statement adds.

‘Your coach will text back and forth with you, giving you honest feedback to make you a flirting pro.’

The third part of the course takes part with a coach alone in a room, however there isn’t any sexual contact.

Instead there is a focus on asking for verbal consent before initiating sexual contact, as well as kissing.

‘This part is really about learning how to kiss in a way that’s gentle and not scary,’ Ms Murphy said.

The course launched just three days ago, and so far there’s yet to be any takers. Ms Murphy said she’s not worried though because she is confident once word gets out men will want to sign up.

‘By taking a course like this you’re not admitting a weakness, you’re saying; “I want to be awesome at this” and that’s what I really want to get across.’

‘You’re not saying “I’m a bad kisser”, or saying “I’m a loser who can’t get a girlfriend” what you’re saying is “I want to be an amazing kisser”.’

What we actually do is treat loneliness, and what we’re selling is largely companionship.

The mother-of-three opened her escort agency, The Bach, a year ago, one she claims she runs ethicallu.

Ms Murphy said the women she employs are drug-free.

She also added they have complete control over the bookings they take as the agency has been founded on consent.

The self-described ‘unlikely’ madam said her employees provide a range of services, and not all of these are sexual.

‘Most people who have contact with the industry for the first time are surprised at what a small portion of time is actually about having sex.

As well as running her agency, Ms Murphy, a published author, is also a mother to three children, the youngest a seven-year-old girl.

She maintains she takes an open approach to her work, and believes it’s a woman’s right to choose what they want to do with their bodies.

‘My policy as a parent is to answer the questions that are asked. We have two teenage daughters in the family so I answer their questions honestly and openly.

‘When my seven-year-old asks what we do at The Bach I say ‘ladies give kisses and cuddles to men and make lots of money.’

She also added that if she had been more aware of what her business entailed that as a young woman she may have considered it.

‘I spend a lot of my life making $8 to $10 an hour folding t-shirts or making coffee.

‘If there had been a business like this when I was 19 or 20 I would have absolutely jumped in,’ she concluded.
