A New Zealand man has managed to down seven beers in just over ten seconds.

The effort was captured on video and uploaded to Facebook on Friday.

The video caption reads: ‘Churrr, I’d avoid any scaffolding sites after this big unit slams down 7 beers at once for smoko.’

In the clip a man grabs a water container and places it over seven beers. 

The water container acts like a funnel as the New Zealand man picks it up and starts to drink.

In under 15 seconds the beer is gone.

The man is met with a large cheer as he puts the container back on the table and wipes his mouth.

The video has been viewed over 50,000 times and attracted a number of comments.

One person wrote: ‘This guy stepping the game up! How’s he gonna drive his forklift home after this?’

‘And he’s about to spew his hole up just as the camera stops recording,’ said another.
