Newcastle Knights player Will Pryce has given an x-rated post-match interview after an impressive debut on Saturday night against the Eels.
Pryce, 21, watched on by his father, English great Leon Pryce – scored for Newcastle in the 22nd minute after a Daniel Saifiti offload in heavy traffic.
‘He’s got his moment, Will Pryce scores on his NRL debut, you can hear the screams from Huddersfield to Bradford and indeed here in Newcastle,’ commentator Andrew Voss said.
‘What a fantastic moment, Will Pryce, on debut, his NRL debut, scores a fantastic try,’ Greg Alexander responded.
‘Boy he hit that pass at speed and it carried him into the in-goal, the legs tackle was a good one. As he caught the ball, Dylan Brown hit him but Will Pryce was travelling that quick that the momentum just carried him into the in-goal.
‘His dad must be loving watching this up in the stands.’
Pryce was interviewed after the match, which the Knights eventually won 34-26, and was so excited he dropped a couple of F-bombs during live coverage.
‘Honestly, the toughest 80 minutes so far in my career. I love this place, I love this city, this club, my f***ing best mate here (Bradman Best),’ Pryce said.

‘Oh sorry for swearing, oh my god… the things these boys do for me, the way they’ve just turned out in this game is exceptional.
‘This is the pinnacle of rugby league, this is where I belong.’
An inspired showing from NSW State of Origin halfback Mitchell Moses was not enough for Parramatta to halt their ugly run of form.
Moses showed no sign of easing off on his return to club duties after inspiring the Blues to a 38-18 win over Queensland in Melbourne on Wednesday.
The playmaker scored two tries and had a hand in two more at McDonald Jones Stadium, but he could not stop the Eels falling to a third consecutive loss.
The Eels are last on the NRL ladder with just one win since mid-April.

‘There were opportunities that we just didn’t quite finish, again,’ said interim Eels coach Trent Barrett.
‘We just couldn’t really get any luck at all.’
