Newcastle schoolgirl’s alleged rapist Brett David Hill offered to move Malaysian lover to Australia

A vagrant who allegedly kidnapped and raped an 11-year-old girl for five hours promised to bring a Malaysian woman to Australia in the weeks before the horrific attack.

Brett David Hill, 47, claimed he would buy his ‘babe’ plane tickets to Sydney and spoke of a future living together on a boat near Newcastle. But the relationship broke down a month ago.

The woman told Daily Mail Australia she was stunned by the police claims: ‘His friends tell me just yesterday, I’m shock(ed).’

Her comments came as a court on Wednesday lifted an interim court order suppressing Hill’s name.

The Malaysian woman said ‘I’m shock(ed)’ after her ex-online lover was revealed to be the man accused of the horrific rape and kidnapping of a schoolgirl

The New South Wales man and his South East Asian lover began speaking together on Facebook this year and professed their love for each other.

Messages supplied to Daily Mail Australia revealed their turgid romance began as early as March.

‘Hi babe see this (is) my other account,’ Hill said. ‘The one I saw u on and fell in love with.

‘I won’t hurt you babe I’m true to my heart and I would delete this if you want me too. I do love you.’

In the weeks that followed, the man claimed he was ‘staying single because of u’ and shared pictures of a boat the pair could live on ‘in the middle of my city’.

On another occasion – after the woman criticised his behaviour – he described himself as jealous.

‘I love you but don’t hold me to my jealousy,’ he said. ‘You are so beautiful and I know by the attention of the guys on your account.

‘We will work this out my love so don’t stop thinking of us being together’.

But the relationship fell apart before the pair’s planned meeting, with the man accusing her of ‘telling me nothing’.

He said she should have purchased a ticket from Malaysia to Australia when it was cheaper.

‘From Sandakan to Sydney (is) $325,’ he said.

She replied: ‘From Kuala Lumpur to Sydney? I am not in Sandakan.. I am from Kuala Lumpur’.

‘Babe… If u don’t mind… u want to buy for me the ticket?’

Hill said he would ‘in a few weeks babe’ after spending money on his car and organising a place to live.

But in mid-May, to the woman’s shock, he announced: ‘Im not going to go on with us anymore. Time for us to forget each other now.’

He came back to her in later in June, asking ‘where r u my love’, but the woman was unsure she wanted to be with the man any longer.

The woman said news of the shocking allegations had been ‘very hard to hear.’

She had been planning to stay in Australia for three months. The pair never met in person.

Newcastle Police Superintendent Brett Greentree said the alleged incident had ‘send shivers down the spine’ of every local.

Hill did not apply for bail and bail was formally refused. He returns to court in August.
