Insiders told MailOnline on Wednesday that they were never dating, despite her hints that they had gone they separate ways earlier this week.
Abi, 26, and Floyd, 40, were thought to have met in Dubai last year and at the time he was credited with helping her through her break-up with long-term boyfriend Rob Davies.
A source confirmed to MailOnline: ‘They never were dating or a couple in first place so you can’t split from something if it was never, at any time, joined together.
‘Anyone can take a picture with Floyd and say it is something it isn’t. She appears to be just taking advantage of linking herself with a world-renowned, very rich athlete.’
The duo were first romantically linked after a cosy picture of the duo appeared in July, and he was said to have taken her on multiple dates, flying back and forth in a bid to see her.
Though a second insider similarly shot down the claims, telling OK magazine: ‘He never flew her anywhere, and definitely at no time was she a part of his inner circle, meeting his family and friends.’

At the time, it was believed that Abi was planning to go to Vegas and support Floyd during his high-publicised fight.
But when Floyd’s 10-round Vegas fight came around, she shared a throwback snap of herself cosying up to the rumoured love interest, instead.
