Sam Burgess and his new wife Lucy were very much the happy newlyweds on Saturday as they stepped out for brunch in Sydney.
The NRL great, 35, tied the knot with Lucy, 33, at the Villa Aurelia – a stunning 17th-century Baroque property is set on the highest point within the walls of Rome last week.
Having flown back to Australia earlier this week, the lovebirds cut casual figures as they enjoyed a morning walk and headed out for brunch.
They were joined by Sam’s mother Julie, while Lucy pushed their one-year-old daughter Robbie in a stroller.
Sam looked comfortable in a pair of beige shorts paired with a black T-shirt, while accessorising with sunglasses and off-white Birkenstock sandals.
The former South Sydney Rabbitohs star looked thrilled to be of the family outing with his wife, mother and daughter.
Lucy dressed in trendy activewear consisting of black flared leggings and a matching crop top.
She also wore a pair of sunglasses for the sunny day and rocked a pair of silver and white running shoes.

‘A heart that’s been hurt before / Searching to feed this heart of mine / I was crazy, mad, I’m sure,’ George sang.
Lucy wrote alongside the clip: ‘This will forever be our song. Thank you Georgey boy.’
