Next stop, Wimbledon! Candice and David Warner’s eldest daughter Ivy, nine, shows off her insane tennis skills

Her parents are two of Australia’s most famous athletes.

And Candice and David Warner’s eldest daughter Ivy, nine, is proving the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to her sporting prowess.

In an Instagram story shared by Candice on Thursday, the proud mum captured Ivy showcasing her impressive tennis skills.

The budding star displayed her natural talent and agility on the court.

Ivy, along with her sisters Indi, eight, and Isla, four, have previously taken to their own Instagram account to show off their tennis talent with the support of their parents.

Candice is a retired professional ironwoman and surf life saver, while dad David is a former international cricketer and a former Test vice-captain.

Candice recently told the Backstage with Cooper and Matty Johns podcast how their family life will change following husband David’s retirement from test cricket.

She gushed over the time David is currently able to spend with her and their kids away for long stretches.

Candice admitted she was ‘relieved’ after his retirement, but clarified people’s expectations that David will now just be at stay at home dad.

‘It was not a moment of sadness at all, something that I think David was ready for – I might be wrong – but just definitely relief,’ she said.

‘For us it was relief, but at the same time, that also meant a hell of a lot more cricket. Which people probably don’t realise, they think “he’s retired from test cricket, he’s going to be home a lot more” but that’s not the case at all.

‘This is a rarity, but after this he’s going to be away for almost four to five months.’

David shocked the sporting world by announcing his retirement from Test and One Day International cricket in June last year.

And last year, he then made the emotional decision to retire from from one-day international cricket in the lead-up to his final Test match.
