Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has expressed his frustration with the late penalty decision that led to his side being knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United.
Referee Damir Skomina consulted VAR before deciding to award United a penalty after Diogo Dalot’s effort struck PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe on the arm.
Marcus Rashford stepped up to score the resultant spot-kick, with United winning 3-1 on the night and prevailing on away goals after the tie finished 3-3.

Neymar, who wasn’t able to feature due to a foot injury, was left livid by the decision and was seen expressing his anger on the touchline in the closing stages of the game.
The Brazil international then took to Instagram to hit out at Skomina’s decision, claiming that he and the other officials involved ‘do not understand football’.

PSG were also knocked out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage by Real Madrid last season.
Neymar’s side are still set to win Ligue 1 at a canter and also have a chance of glory in the Coupe de France.
However, it is the Champions League in which they wanted to prevail the most, in order to demonstrate how far they have progressed.
Marcus Rashford showed excellent composure to score the penalty and send United through
PSG went into the game with a two-goal lead from the first leg, but United got a goal early on through Romelu Lukaku.
Juan Bernat scored for PSG to make it 1-1 on the night before Lukaku got his second in the 30th minute.
It was Rashford’s late penalty that proved to decisive, and Neymar certainly wasn’t pleased with the decision.
