Former Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Tyron Smith will reportedly sign an honorary one-day contract with the franchise before bringing the curtain down on his career.

Smith, a five-time All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowler, spent 13 of his 14 seasons in the NFL as a Cowboy before enjoying a brief year with the New York Jets.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the 34-year-old is now poised to retire from football after serving his one-day deal in Dallas.

His retirement ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday, with the Cowboys announcing they are holding a press conference to address his future on April 16.
